Bio:

Daniel Pinks has been part of the music scene as far back as grade school acting and singing in school
productions. He started writing poetry in high school and even got published in the school magazine.
At the same time, he was part of a musical crew djing and rapping. When he was very young, his mother
started giving him musical gifts including music lessons. Being an accomplished pianist herself, his mother
nurtured his interest in guitar and then flute. During college, he began singing as part of a duo with the
phenomenal talent and voice of Janessa Lidge. After college, he studied piano and learned to play by ear.
Although he never mastered the piano, he learned enough to help him write. Starting out as a dj and rapper
was great practice for songwriting and composing. Daniel is familiar with many styles of music but seems
to favor house and lounge music based in funk and soul. However, he writes all types of music.
As half of the musical duo egoFreQs, Daniel along with his partner Alex Wright tries to put his stank on
anything he can get his hands and ears on. Here are some of his projects. Daniel Pinks' musical resume
includes songs created, written, co-written and inspired by the talented indiviuals he has worked with
including La Veda Davis, Kavayah Amn, CJ Burken, Jean Caze, Nikki Kidd and others.
